Well Spring is finally on its way and we open our gates next weekend to a brand new season!
Bookings are coming in thick and fast and the online booking system appears to be a big hit!
Our biggest news is we have resurfaced the hardstandings and I’ve got to say they are looking pretty good!
We have also planted some more native trees to encourage the wildlife (and comply with our planning conditions!)
So with just a little more tidying up we are about ready for our first visitors next weekend! Please don’t forget we still have some pretty adverse weather in March so if you have booked with us please keep an eye on the forecasts and if we haven’t contacted you make sure you speak to us before you set off, if in any doubt! We are around 700ft above sea level here and on the snow line and although it looks spectacular we would like to think you can all arrive and depart safety!
So with all that said …looking forward to seeing you all very soon!

Hi Jools, Tim and family,Love the updates and the photos of the pitches look amazing, with the new hard standing.Loved our few days with you last May/ late April ( during your daughters 18thbirthday celebrations). The online booking facility is a brilliant idea and already looking at late April again. One thing that may benefit everyone, is an online site pitch layout plan, so folks can see where pitch 1 etc are, when booking online, and also assist when arriving on site, knowing where your pitch is?Keep up the good work and hopefully see you in April.Kind regardsJim and Clare HigginsPs is upper pitch 1 furthest in from entry lane, or nearest to lane? Hello James and Claire,
Thank you for your lovely comments and that’s a great idea…rather than just descriptions! I will get onto it straight away. Pitch 1 is furthest…look out for the new site plan! 😊Hope to see you again! Joolz 😊
